I just have to tell you this story. It shows that databee can be used in all areas and has become a saviour in times of need.
Act One
Sometimes it happens that you are elsewhere with your thoughts. Stress, a lot of work pile up on your desk and in between a glass of water. This glas is accidentally knocked over and the water spread over the keyboard into the interior of the notebook. The device is no longer usable.
Act Two
A new device has to be found, everything has to be reinstalled, but the hard disk is ruined. Set up a new notebook and link it to the data that is somewhere on a backup. The question is, which one? That's where databee comes in. databee supplies the data and the programs can be linked back to the data. No one would ever have suspected that the emails in the PST file ended up in the archive folder.
Third act
Everyone's happy. The new notebook, with the usual tools and all necessary data, is set up. So nothing prevents you from your work.
This story has moved me so much because we must already be aware that as an entrepreneur you have no idea where the data is located. Just the fact of being offline for a longer period of time means that many of us can no longer do our work.
The amount of data is increasing, every software stores data somewhere else, sometimes duplicates are created. In the perspective of digitalization, the amount of data will increase even more. Nevertheless, it is up to each individual entrepreneur to protect its data, to comply with the GDPR and to ensure smooth operations. However, this can only succeed if you know exactly where the data can be found.
