Framework conditions for AWS IT security funding for SMEs in Austria
- Start: from 1.4.2022
- Eligible: Investment projects in the area of IT and cybersecurity
e.g. for hardware and software but also for services from external providers - Eligible: new investments that must be capitalised (tangible and intangible investments), services provided by external providers in the area of IT and cybersecurity as well as other (ongoing) costs such as licences for IT security solutions; ongoing project-related costs for licences can be funded for a maximum of 18 months
- Projects in the amount of 2,000 to 50,000 euros
- Funding level: up to 40 percent
- Applicants for funding: SMEs with the exception of companies whose core business is based on the development and implementation of IT security solutions, as well as freelancers
- Payment: as a one-off amount after completion of the project
- Project period: The subsidised investments and external costs must be carried out and paid for within a maximum of 18 months from the date of application.
- Funding application: max. 1x IT security project per company (incl. interlinked companies)
- Application period: Applications for funding for the programme can be submitted digitally via the aws Funding Manager between 01.04.2022 and 30.06.2023 (or until the budgetary funds are exhausted earlier).
- Application submission: via the AWS Funding Manager (incl. cost breakdown and project description: initial situation, objective and result).
